Day two of voting in Egypt, so far the voters turned out in large numbers and only minimal protests were reported. Mainly the protests were among the youth who feel uncomfortable about the Muslim brotherhood’ s Freedom and Justice party.

They have a reason to be worried, because having a secular party in power can only cause more divisions in the country. Look at what happened to Iraq between the Sunnis and Shias, which led to a major loss of lives.

Certainly it will be sad to see this happen to Egypt after enduring all those deadly protests. We can only hope for the best as they take on the path to democracy.
