As hope for Syria’s future deteriorate, Egypt’s president Mohamed Morsi plans to bring together four major countries together to talk about how to combat what seems to be a regional problem. The New York Times reported that, Egypt together with Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey plan to convene in the matters of Syria.

Since all other options have been exhausted, I hope Morsi’s plan will work to stop Assad from his tyrannic actions that has led Syria into civil war. The massive killings of citizens are escalating, and somebody needs to stop this mess. If it means these four Arab countries, I say, go for it.
